Subsidised Kidney Transplant

Kidney transplantation is the best treatment & is a game changer for CKD patients. Dialysis can only remove the toxins from a Ckd patient’s body but cannot give him a normal life, while a kidney transplant can transform a person into an absolutely normal person. However, the cost of kidney transplant is Rs 8 lakhs to 12 lakhs & majority of the CKD patients find it difficult to afford this treatment. Based on the affordability status of the CKD patients, social workers assess them to raise funds to support the transplant surgery & at times post operative medicines.
